A Sneak Peek of Your Role 🔭

As Instinct Science grows our brand and customer loyalty in the veterinary industry, we are seeking a Payment Operations Manager to lead our new fintech programs. This role would be responsible for managing fintech partnerships, optimizing fintech revenue, diversifying payment options, and enhancing user fintech customer experience.

What You’ll Do 🐱‍💻

  • Build and maintain relationships with Instinct’s fintech partners to ensure smooth payment operations

  • Oversee the fintech experience for all customers from onboarding, support, and go-to-market motions

  • Develop and deliver all processes and documentation related to Instinct’s fintech training

  • Create and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to monitor fintech/payment operations and partnerships

  • Achieve and exceed fintech related revenue targets

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to optimize the payment experience

  • Develop and maintain a level of expertise regarding Instinct’s payment operations process as well as our technical and software capabilities

  • Provide key input into overall fintech strategy, raising key improvement and investment required to improve Instinct’s fintech operations and efficiency

  • Assist with projects associated with payment fintech operations including and updated integrations, new features, and new partnerships

Who You Are 🐱‍💻

Must Haves:

  • Experience managing and leading teams

  • In-depth knowledge of payment solutions and/or finance industry products and systems, and supporting an embedded financial product

  • Self-starter with the motivation to take initiative in uncharted territories

  • Great written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to manage concurrent initiatives

  • Strong customer-centric mindset

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Curious mindset with the drive to become an expert in fintech programs

  • Empathetic - you want to help and serve to ensure loyal Instinct champions


  • Advanced excel skills or data analysis

  • Strong background in strategy, customer support and onboarding, negotiations, and marketing.

This role will consist of both base and uncapped incentive compensation. The On-Target Earnings range for this role is $150,000 to $160,000.
