By proceeding with payments for veterinary services through Link to Pay, you (“you”, “your,” or “Pet Owner”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this End User Payment Processing Agreement (the “Terms”).

Service Description
You are completing payment for veterinary services rendered in-office at your veterinary clinic. This payment will be received by the hospital by a secure online payment system, known as Link to Pay.
​
Payment Process
Payments are processed instantly upon submission through Link to Pay. Payments are for one-time charges; there is no subscription or recurring billing unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Third-Party Services
We work with third-party providers, including payment processors and banking institutions, to securely complete your transaction. These third parties are responsible for facilitating the payment process and maintaining the security of your financial information.

Payment Processor Entity
Instinct Payments offers payments through Adyen, a third-party payment processor and acquirer. The Adyen Terms and Conditions are available here: https://www.adyen.com/legal/terms-and-conditions. The Adyen Privacy Statement is available here: https://www.adyen.com/policies-and-disclaimer/privacy-policy. Your consent to the use of Link to Pay includes your agreement to the Adyen Terms and Conditions and Adyen Privacy Statement, to the extent applicable to your use of Link to Pay.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America and the relevant state where the veterinary services paid for via Link to Pay were rendered.

Data We Store
We, either directly or through the payment processor(s), collect and store the following information: your name, billing address, email address, phone number, payment details, and details of the veterinary services provided.

Data We Share
We may share necessary information with trusted third-party service providers solely for the purpose of processing your payment and maintaining transaction records (e.g., payment processors, fraud prevention services).

Delivery Information​

Delivery Timeline
Upon successful payment submission, your payment is immediately applied to the outstanding veterinary bill.

Our payment service is available to clients within the United States.

Refund and Cancellation Policy​

Refund Eligibility
Payments made via Link to Pay are refunded in part or in whole under the veterinary provider’s discretion and the Pet Owner’s elected treatment plan. However, if there has been an error in billing or an overpayment, refunds may be processed on a case-by-case basis following a review by our billing department.

Requesting a Refund or Canceling a Payment
To request a refund or dispute a payment, you must provide your payment receipt and a description of the issue.

Refund/Cancelation Process
Once a refund is approved, it will be processed back to the original form of payment within 7 business days.​​​​​

Disclaimer

Instinct is a software provider, not a bank, credit union, payment processor, or financial institution. Transactions are processed via Instinct’s chosen payment and point of sale processor(s). By paying with Link to Pay, you authorize Instinct’s payment processor(s) to charge your credit card or other payment methods.
